Shooters, suspected to be herders, on Thursday, killed 12 people and harmed one at Kulben town of Kombun District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau.
DSP Terna Tyopev, Plateau Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) said that the episode occured in the early long periods of Thursday.
"In the early long stretches of today, we got a trouble call that shooters, suspected to be herders assaulted Kulben people group of Kombun District of Mangu. Thus, 12 people lost their lives and one seriously harmed. Promptly we got the data, the magistrate accountable for the order, Mr Isaac Akinmoyede, coordinated the DCP responsible for Operations, Mr Aliyu Tafida to activate to the scene.
