An appalling mishap happened today at Vinikling span (Hayin Gada) in Yola, Adamawa State as around 20 individuals were squashed to death after a trailer stacked with ranch produce overran a few tricycles a.k.a Keke Napep.
Casualties of the mishap who were squashed to death by the trailer being pursued by cops after its driver rejected giving them cash have been emptied to an emergency clinic in Yola. Day by day Post announced that a few occupants of the network said the police disclosed to them they were pursuing the truck driver for conveying products suspected to be outside rice.
"Be that as it may, there was no outside rice in the truck, it was ranch produce. The driver said they were pursuing him for declining to give them cash at a checkpoint the police mounted," an occupant of the network, Umar Shehu said.
