The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has captured and marched a 30-year-elderly person recognized as Mohammed Babangida for assaulting a 9-year-old young lady. 

The captured suspect submitted the offense on October 10 at Damare people group in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State. He was seized in the wake of being connected to the miserable demonstration by Damara occupants. 

"The speculate will be charged to court through the intercession and counsel by Director of Prosecution (DPP), state Ministry of Justice, which we generally cooperate with on capital offense that adds up to arraignment" The state Commander of the NSCDC, Nurudeen Abdulahi said. 

Admitting to the wrongdoing when marched before newsmen, Babangida said he gave the young lady N50 and N20 on two particular events and took a stab at assaulting her when they met for the third time subsequent to giving her N50.

He requested mercy, saying, "I have not done it previously and I won't attempt it once more. I have spouse and youngsters. Government should feel sorry for me and not destroy my family."
