
8 kids captured in Kano in 2014, safeguarded in Anambra in 2019
The Kano State Police Command have protected 8 kids snatched in the state in 2014, after the capture of individuals from a pack that has some expertise in youngster dealing.
A leap forward in the examination came after one of the suspects, Paul Owne, captured one Harlan Sagir Bako who he endeavored to ship to Anambra state where he will be sold.

Remarking on the capture, the state's chief of police, Ahmed Iliyasu said Bako was snatched on September 11, 2019, on his route home from Islamiyya School at Yankaba quarters.
He stated, ''The order's strategic group of Operation Puff Adder joined to the counter seizing squad was itemized for cautious examination over the span of which the suspects were captured. .

They admitted to have schemed among themselves and kidnapped different kids from territories like Sauna, Kwanar Jaba, Kawo, Hotoro Yankaba and Dakata quarters all inside the Kano city.''

The captured suspects have been distinguished as Paul Owne, 38 (male) and Mercy Paul, 38 (female), both of Dakata Quarters, Kano State, while their Onitsha-based accessories were Emmanuel Igwe, 34 (male); Ebere Ogbodo, 45 (male) and Monica Orachaa, 50 (female). Louisa Duru, 45 (female) worked in Imo State as a purchaser cum and merchant.
The children who have been brought together with their family were recognized as Umar Faruq Ibrahim, 10 (male); renamed as Onyedika Ogbodo; Aisha Moh'd Abdullahi, 9 (female), renamed as Ozioma Ogbodo; Usman Mohammed, 5, (male); Amira Auwalu, 4 (female) and Husna Salisu, 4 (female), Blessing Ogbodo, 10 (female); Chiazozie Ogbodo, 11 (male); Chiemerie Ogbodo, 6 (male).
