Police blame troopers for slaughtering 3 officials and discharging an abduct suspect in Taraba
The Nigeria Police Force have blamed warriors for executing three of their work force while liberating an abduct suspect in Taraba state.
As indicated by an announcement discharged by Frank Mba, the representative of the power, he said cops from the Intelligence Response Team IRT, were in Taraba to impact the capture of one Hamisu, an alhaji "arraigned in a progression of prominent hijack occurrences in the state. Mba says the cops had captured Hamisu however was liberated by certain warriors who assaulted the cops.
''The warriors from that point discharged the bound suspect, Alhaji Hamisu, who is presently on the run. The Police Operatives, driven by ASP Felix Adolije of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) purportedly went under unexpected assault and genuine shooting by troopers of the Nigerian Army, along Ibi – Jalingo Road, Taraba State.
The Operatives, who were taking the captured suspect, Alhaji Hamisu to the Command Headquarters in Jalingo, were shot at severally by the troopers regardless of adequate verification that they are Police staff on authentic obligation.
Three Policemen (including one Inspector and two Sergeants) and one regular citizen kicked the bucket because of discharge wounds supported in the assault while others continued genuine shot injuries." Mba said
Mba said the police have initiated full examination concerning the "strange and shocking episode."
The Nigerian Army is yet to respond to this charge.
