The previous legislative head of the state Akinwunmi Ambode yesterday given over the issues of the state to the new senator.
"To the Glory of God, I have quite recently given over control of government in Lagos State to His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, following a remunerating 4-year experience. This would not have been conceivable without the help, collaboration and petitions of all Lagosians. I remain everlastingly thankful to all of you. God favor all of you. On his part, Sanwo-olu reported that Ambode has given over to him.
